Dash
Australian Cattle Dog
Dash is a mini blue heeler who needs a home that someone wants a companion. He would do best as an only dog but is known to get along with other dogs that are very laid back and not aggressive. Once he learns they are not a threat he gets along well. He currently lives with a toy aussie he gets along well with but we have his half brother and are having issues with them fighting. This is the reason I can't keep him. They are the same breed and too close in age. We have reached out to specialists and it's recommended to rehome him. He also lives with 4yr old and 7yr old children. He does good with them but gets a little anxious when they are wound up or start fighting. Which he just goes to the door and wants outside. He would do well with older children who want to play fetch with him.

Oreo
Treeing Walker Coonhound
His NHS paperwork says he’s a treeing walker coonhound we are unsure if he’s mixed. He is very tall and shouldn't get any bigger, he is also very strong. Positives about him are that he is kennel trained, potty trained and knows some basic commands. He is great with kids of all ages, loves attention, is good with cats/kittens, has no food aggressions, and seems to do well with other dogs. He has all his shots and is neutered. He loves walks and being outside but doesnt like the heat so he prefers to be inside when it’s hot out. He must go to a home with a 5 foot or taller fence. He thinks hes a lap dog. He can jump a 4 foot fence and doesn’t recall well, he loves to run so if he gets out be prepared to chase him down a few blocks as he loves chasing squirrels. He loves walks but is very strong and will pull you. He has been working on this and is very treat motivated. He needs to be crated at night or when hes alone as he loves chewing on things. He loves to bark at people that walk by but just wants their attention. He loves people in general. He doesn’t like water but does fine for bath time. He does jump up on people but will get down if you tell him to. He loves men and listens well to them more so than women but will listen to about anyone. When we got him we weren’t told he was a runner and needed a fenced in yard. He is a very high energy dog in short bursts and needs more attention, lots of exercise, and someone who can work with him more than we can. He has a microchip and will need to have information updated upon transfer. He will come with the food we have left, his leash, collar, vet paperwork from NHS, toys, grooming items, treats and anything else he has. If you are interested or have any questions please ask.
