We don't have a lot of room and we keep her in a cage too much and she needs more playtime, she is a true nanny dog but is still trying to find her bark lol. But she has so much love to give

Future
American Bully
Hi, this is Future. Future is 1 year and 4 months old. He is an amazing dog and a cherished member of our family. We truly love him, but it breaks our hearts to have to re-home him. However, we are holding ourselves accountable and believe he deserves a better life than we can currently provide. We are a family of six— a husband, wife, and four children. When we first took him in, our goal was to rescue him from situation that was difficult for both him and his previous owner(s). The situation left him severely untrained, and we felt that we could help as there was unsurity towards what to do with him. The very first day I took him to a park, we bonded instantly. That same day, we decided to bring him home. We fell in love with Future, and he fell in love with us. However, over time, our circumstances changed. My work schedule became more demanding, and our family has been on the move more than we anticipated. We want Future to have things we can’t currently offer, like a spacious backyard where he can roam freely, or even a companion, since he’s often home alone while we’re at work. I should clarify that I marked him as “not good with kids” on the Petmeetly app not because he’s inherently unsafe, but due to an incident in December, about a month and a half after we adopted him. During this time he was still being trained out of things and in a new environment. He wanted to play with one of my children (age 10), but on this particular day she wasn’t interested and pointed for him to sit. In what seemed like an attempt to establish dominance, seeing her as a peer, and still being new an environment with children, he lightly gnawed on her finger for 10-15 seconds. Importantly, he didn’t cause any harm at all—there was no blood, no broken skin, and no fractures. As a terrier, he could have done much worse, but I believe it was more of a warning than an attack. This event also cause me to realize I was being too hard on him while trying to train him up and to consider his environment that I was providing. I made DRASTIC changes after this and in return his behavior and maturity has remarkably improved since then. To be fair, I want to reiterate that Future spent the first 10 months of his life in a difficult situation with his previous owner where he had free reign at the time and there wasn’t much time spent at all to train him amongst other things. Some of his old habits were still being addressed when the incident occurred, but in the three months since the incident, he’s made remarkable progress. He’s continued to live safely with and among our children with no aggression and all has been well. Think about this, if I were simply just trying to get rid of him, I wouldn’t disclose this incident, as it’s not on his record and would likely make him less appealing to others. But we’re committed to his well-being. He truly is a good dog. I know what he needs. We love Future deeply and will be extremely careful about where he goes next. We’re not in a rush to send him off to just anyone, but we want this change for him as soon as possible. Ideally, his new home would have a nice yard and space for him to play, and perhaps even a companion, though that’s not mandatory. It would warm our hearts to know he’s in a playful, exciting, and loving environment where he can thrive and have a home forever. What We’re Looking For: Please provide as much information as you can to explain why you feel Future’s next—and hopefully forever—home should be with you. Tell us about your living situation as much as you’re comfortable to, experience with dogs (especially terriers), and how you can meet his needs for space, companionship, and play. Thank you for reading. God bless….
