We found Tahani near Springdale AR. She was wandering around following a group of kids in our neighborhood, She came right up to my wife and said hello! The kids told us that she had been a stray for at least a year, and she had been abused. They were feeding her but they couldn’t take her in. We took her in, it took a couple tries as we learned she can jump fences haha. We took her to the vet and got her microchip checked. Previous owners did not respond and it’s been a month. Found out she’s ten years old and has been coming to that vet for seven years. She stopped coming three years ago. She’s spayed and has her shots, no health issues. She loves car rides and enjoys going on trips! We’ve taken her to parks, the beach and restaurants. She also loves cuddles, sleeping, traveling, and chewing bones. She’s amazing with children, super gentle and patient. She’s cautious of new people because of her past. But warms up quickly. She walks well, knows basic commands, and is house trained. She does not like cats, we think she sees them as prey. She has SEVERE separation anxiety, gets very anxious being alone. She has destroyed two of our crates when we tried to crate train her. And doesn’t like being touched by strangers, she will allow a couple pets from strangers and then she kind of backs away. And then again sometimes she just runs up and asks for attention. We’ve been taking her out a lot to get her used to people again and be more friendly. She takes a bit to warm up but then she’s all cuddles after that. We want to be transparent about her goods and bads so we can be sure whoever adopts her is prepared to take in a dog that has some trauma and is willing to love her and work with her! We’ve worked with traumatized animals before but we just don’t have the room, time, or money to give her the help she deserves.

Dolly is a 1.5 year old GSP. She has tons of energy and knows some commands. She points at birds and squirrels naturally (we didn’t teach her). We have an older dog and she has too much energy to be around her. She is so sweet and pretty good around other dogs. She hasn’t seen a cat yet so not sure about that. She walks ok on a leash, she loves to smell and will start pulling if she smells something interesting :) She is really smart and would be easily trainable but me and my fiancé had to move to an apartment so we don’t have the space or time that she deserves. I want her to go to a very loving home. The $500 is negotiable i just want to her go to a sweet family that will love her as we aren’t able to and it breaks my heart but she deserves a lot better. She has a kennel and some food bowls and blankets that will go with her. She currently eats IAMS and does good on it. The Beggin’ treats mess her stomach up so she has a sensitive stomach sometimes. She loves the milk bone treats. She does cry for just a little bit in the kennel at night but eventually stops and it’s a quiet cry. She hasn’t been around kids so i’m not sure what she would do with them. She has met some new people and didn’t jump all over them so she is pretty good about that. Serious inquiries only please as i want the absolute best for this dog.

He is very anxious and barks. He is potty trained but is not trained for anything else. He knows sit and shake. He is a Velcro dog. Runs a lot. He is good with my kids and my dog. He gets aggressive around his food.
