Looking to rehome a 1 year old, female Cane Corso. She has got a cleft lip, but this doesn’t affect her whatsover. She is full of energy, very playful and can be quite a handful due to her high activity level, so would require a home that can offer the time and space to provide the training she needs. She is very friendly towards people but as a big, boisterous dog, she’s not aware of her size. With this in mind, I believe a home without any small children would be best suited. Her interactions with other dogs also haven’t always been the best, so someone with no pets and able to give her the one on one she needs would be great. She is quite vocal and does bark when she’s excited or alert. She’s not used to being in the car either and doesn’t understand how to use the boot, but with time and positive reinforcement this could improve. I think a home with a garden would be a better suit but that doesn’t really make a difference if you’re an active person. She does pull on the lead but calms down during the walk. She doesn’t get off the lead unless we are certain there is no one around. If let off the lead, she will stick by your side and does have good recall. We had an issue with her chewing her rope lead, so are using an extendable with her just now and the walks are a lot more enjoyable as she gets to roam more freely and isn’t pulling as much. She loves a lazy night and will cuddle up with you and sleep through the whole night.
