He is now a year and a half old. Not like most Pomeranians, he is quiet. He rarely barks and prefers calm environments. He is a bit timid at first, but once he feels safe and comfortable, he becomes very affectionate. He loves giving kisses and being close to people. He also sensitive to loud noises, especially traffic sounds, and can get scared easily. Because of this, he would do best in a peaceful, loving home away from heavy traffic or loud surroundings. He had to be neutered because he previously had some prostate issues, and the vet recommended the surgery for his health. During the procedure, we had to shave the hair around his belly. However, because Pomeranians are genetically prone to hair regrowth issues, shaving affected the way his fur grows back. As a result, the hair on his legs and abdomen looks uneven. Thankfully, I can see that new hair is starting to grow, so the patchy fur is not due to any illness just how his coat is recovering.
