Meet Hootie—a resilient little pup with quite a journey. She was rescued at just a few weeks old and rehomed not once, but twice, before being heartbreakingly dumped. Thankfully, Jacksonville Humane picked her up and reached out to me. When I got there, it was clear she wasn’t in the best shape, but I knew she deserved a second chance. I brought her home, and now Hootie is safe, loved, and finally on the road to becoming the happy, healthy puppy she was always meant to be. With time, care, and lots of love, Hootie is making progress every day—and once she reaches a comfortable and stable state, she’ll be ready to find her forever home.

I am very sad to say I need to rehome this sweet girl. Her name is Sadie she is a Lab & German shepard mix, 1 year old. She loves being outside especially being in the water. She is not spayed. She is potty trained and crate trained. She is very sweet just very hyper and needs training. She has caused damage in the house and we have been dealing with that since puppy. Reason for rehoming: moving away with military and can not take her with me. She is wary with new people so she would need to meet and interact with you first. She can get wary with other animals especially if she doesn’t know them also around food.

Beignet is a sweet, gentle, and affectionate 3-year-old yellow lab with a playful spirit and a big heart. He loves being around people and other dogs, especially enjoying time outside and staying active. I’m looking for a loving home where he’ll have space to run, companionship (human or canine), and the attention and exercise he deserves. His happiness and well-being are my top priority.

Rehoming My Puppy – A Loving, Trauma-Aware Home Only I’m looking for a very special person to take in my sweet 5-month-old puppy, Lillet. She is a spayed female with up-to-date vaccinations, and I have all her paperwork ready. Lillet is absolutely precious — full of love, potential, and the softest soul you’ll ever meet. Before I rescued her, Lillet suffered abuse at the hands of a past owner. Because of this, she needs a patient, understanding, and trauma-informed home — someone who will love her through her fears, continue building her trust, and provide the safe, nurturing environment she truly deserves. She’s made amazing progress in my care. She’s incredibly sweet, loves to cuddle, and is great with other animals — she gets along well with both dogs and cats. However, due to my current circumstances, I cannot give her the full attention and healing space she needs long-term. I will only consider adopters who: • Have the time and emotional capacity to work with a trauma survivor • Are committed to a safe, stable, and abuse-free environment • Understand that healing takes patience, love, and consistency Any signs of mistreatment, neglect, or red flags during the screening process will result in immediate disqualification.
